Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems, along with a strong background in mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the functionality and reliability of industrial automation systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various automated equipment.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new automation projects.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools for efficient maintenance.
• Train junior mechanics on best practices and machinery operation.
• Evaluate equipment performance and make recommendations for upgrades.
• Work closely with operators to understand challenges and enhance workflow.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• BTech in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or mechanical maintenance
