Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Bloemfontein. You will oversee the daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and lead a dedicated team to achieve excellence in service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standard.
• Train new staff on housekeeping procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory and requisition cleaning supplies.
• Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Conduct performance evaluations and share feedback with staff.
• Implement new cleaning techniques and standards as necessary.
• Prepare housekeeping reports for management review.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control measures.
• Encourage teamwork and effective communication among staff.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Hospitality or Housekeeping preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in housekeeping management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Multi-Lingual Skills: Ability to communicate in more than one language is an asset.
