Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Pharmacist in Johannesburg! You will play a key role in patient care, responsible for accurate medication dispensing, counseling patients on drug therapy, and ensuring the pharmacy follows all relevant legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Review medication orders for potential drug interactions.
  • Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in pharmacy audits and ensure quality control.
  • Develop strategies for improving pharmacy practices and patient services.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in pharmacy management systems.
  • Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Pharmacy or related discipline is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years working in both retail and clinical pharmacy environments
