Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager in Cape Town to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will manage resources, ensure compliance with safety and building regulations, and foster effective communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for materials and services.
• Assist with the recruitment and training of construction staff.
• Evaluate and manage potential project risks.
• Ensure environmental and sustainability practices are followed.
• Adapt and modify project plans as necessary to overcome challenges.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee compliance with contractual obligations.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Experience

• 7 years of experience in large-scale construction projects
