We are seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Research Scientist to contribute to our dynamic research team in Durban. This role involves designing and executing experiments aimed at discovering new drugs and therapies, alongside evaluating research data. Responsibilities

• Lead experimental design and implementation of research studies.
• Perform statistical analysis of research data to validate scientific findings.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Review literature to identify new research opportunities and best practices.
• Coordinate with external partners for collaborative research projects.
• Train laboratory staff on new techniques and safety protocols.
• Contribute to the development of patents and publications.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and share research updates.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
• PhD is prefered

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical research
