Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction plans and strategies.
• Monitor the financial performance of projects and find ways to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Prepare documentation and processes for project approvals.
• Assist in claims management and dispute resolution.
• Promote a culture of safety within the workforce.
• Establish relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and oversee contract management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Project Management or related field
• Additional certifications in construction management are a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience managing construction projects
