Construction Manager

Job Description

Join our growing team as a Construction Manager in Durban. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects according to specifications and deadlines. A deep understanding of building codes and safety standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage construction schedules ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures on-site and address any violations immediately.
• Generate reports on project progress and document any delays or issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project requirements and quality control.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction status.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment required for the project.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management
