The Retail Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of ABC Retail's premises, employees, and customers. Responsible for implementing loss prevention strategies, conducting investigations, and training staff in security awareness, this position is essential for minimizing theft and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures to minimize theft, fraud, and shrinkage.
• Monitor CCTV footage and conduct store patrols to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, taking appropriate actions according to established protocols.
• Conduct investigations into incidents of theft or misconduct, documenting findings and providing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with store management to develop and implement effective security measures.
• Train and educate staff on loss prevention best practices and awareness.
• Stay updated with the latest security technologies and trends to enhance loss prevention strategies.
• Cooperate with external law enforcement agencies when required.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant certification in security or loss prevention is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in loss prevention or security management.
