Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer passionate about sustainable development to join our dedicated team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that mitigate environmental impacts while promoting conservation practices.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage projects focused on environmental remediation.
• Work on multidisciplinary teams for impactful project outcomes.
• Develop partnerships with external organizations to enhance sustainability efforts.
• Evaluate potential environmental projects for feasibility and impact.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, engaging manner.
• Support the development of grant proposals for funding environmental initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented environmental policies.
• Organize workshops and seminars to educate stakeholders about sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Ph.D. is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in consulting or fieldwork
