Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer passionate about sustainable development to join our dedicated team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that mitigate environmental impacts while promoting conservation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental sustainability projects in collaboration with clients.
• Analyze data and report findings related to environmental assessments.
• Review and evaluate engineering designs for environmental impacts.
• Advise on innovative technologies for pollution control and waste management.
• Drive initiatives that reduce waste and enhance conservation efforts.
• Collaborate with local communities to foster support for environmentally-conscious initiatives.
• Ensure that all protocols are followed while working on site.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior staff on environmental best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Ph.D. is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in consulting or fieldwork
