Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control, with a strong focus on improving system efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage supply chain operations to maximize efficiency.
• Participate in contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance supply chain software and tools.
• Develop training materials for staff regarding supply chain processes.
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain practices and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain leadership roles

Technical Skills

• SAP SCM Software
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with E-commerce Supply Chains: Experience in managing supply chains for e-commerce businesses.
• Certifications in Lean Management: Knowledge of Lean principles and management techniques.
