Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily activities and contributing to their overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assist in administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and achieving wellness.
  • Learn and apply patient care regulations and protocols.
  • Respond to patients’ needs or emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their privacy.
  • Participate in training and professional development programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Qualified Nursing Assistant Certificate
  • Further education in healthcare is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct patient care
