Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Advisor to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, providing essential legal support to our clients within the legal counsel category.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their legal needs.
• Draft and review company policies and regulatory filings.
• Conduct market analysis to ensure compliance with industry norms.
• Work closely with senior management to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Support crisis management by providing expert legal insights.
• Facilitate and manage legal training sessions for staff.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in a legal role with advisory experience

Technical Skills

• Corporate Law

Certifications

• Legal Practice Course (LPC)
• Specialist Certification in Compliance

• English: Fluent
