Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer in Pretoria! Bring your expertise in designing and implementing structural solutions to our dynamic engineering firm. You’ll work alongside architects and various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, cost-effectively, and within timeline expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review detailed engineering designs and specifications for structural projects.
  • Analyze building codes and regulations to ensure project compliance.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure proper implementation of structural designs.
  • Use software tools (e.g., CAD, structural analysis software) for designs and simulations.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Assess the structural integrity of existing buildings and propose necessary upgrades or repairs.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert insights on structural matters.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in structural engineering design
