As a Veterinarian at our practice in Pretoria, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in animals. Responsibilities

• Assess and provide medical care to both domestic and farm animals.
• Perform routine vaccinations and preventive health care.
• Engage in surgical procedures, as needed, with precision.
• Maintain dialogue with pet owners regarding their animals' health.
• Implement emergency care protocols when necessary.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and care strategies.
• Research and update practices based on advancements in veterinary science.
• Encourage responsible pet ownership and animal welfare initiatives.
• Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• Foster a welcoming environment for clients and their animals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years experience in veterinary practice
