Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our practice in Pretoria, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in animals. You will be working alongside a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality veterinary care. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions in animals.
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary.
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care and animal welfare.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with veterinary team members for optimal patient care.
  • Stay abreast of new veterinary medicine techniques and technologies.
  • Provide emergency treatment as needed.
  • Provide compassionate support to pet owners managing difficult situations.
  • Promote a positive and responsive attitude towards the animals and their care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years experience in veterinary practice
