Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, assisting end-users, and ensuring all IT systems run smoothly. You will work closely with our IT team to provide top-notch support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between users and technical teams to ensure effective communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Assist in the administration of IT systems and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
  • Manage inventories of IT assets and supplies.
  • Provide insights on emerging technologies to enhance IT services.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
  • Relevant IT certifications such as Cisco CCNA are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
