Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Warp Dresser is to efficiently set up and maintain the warp on weaving machines. This role requires a keen attention to detail, technical skill, and teamwork to ensure a smooth production process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up looms for weaving by ensuring proper yarn alignment.
  • Adjust tension on warp threads to guarantee quality fabric production.
  • Conduct quality checks on the weaving output regularly.
  • Document maintenance and operational procedures.
  • Assist in training new team members on machine operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Further vocational training or specialization in textile manufacturing is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.
