We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will support our pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will play a vital role in patient education and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while consulting with patients.
• Assist with medication therapy management and adherence programs.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and review processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers for stock management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and pharmacy practices.
• Support patient care initiatives and community health programs.
• Contribute to maintaining the pharmacy's quality assurance standards.
• Engage with patients to build trust and rapport.

Advantageous

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy: Preferred experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
