Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for testing and a keen eye for detail, responsible for developing and executing test plans and cases, identifying defects, and working collaboratively with our development team.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans that ensure comprehensive coverage of features.
• Document detailed reports on test results and defects found.
• Validate and verify fix status for bugs logged.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality.
• Participate in regular QA meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Software Testing is a plus

Experience

• Experience in both manual and automated testing environments is preferred.

• Selenium
• Postman

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing: Ability to write SQL queries for database testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices.
