Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Veterinarian to join our team in East London. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing preventative care. We value a strong commitment to animal welfare and client education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests such as X-rays and blood tests.
  • Handle emergency cases and provide immediate care to injured animals.
  • Establish treatment plans and follow-up protocols for patients.
  • Conduct research on animal health trends and management.
  • Educate clients on diet, nutrition, and preventive measures.
  • Supervise and guide the work of veterinary assistants.
  • Ensure that all clinic equipment is properly maintained and functional.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call duties if required.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional relationship with clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Technology
  • SAVC Registration preferable
Experience
  • Experience in both clinical and emergency veterinary environments preferred
