Join us as a Freight Forwarder in Durban! In this role, you will manage the logistics involved in shipping goods internationally and domestically. Responsibilities

• Oversee freight operations to optimize shipping routes and costs.
• Prepare, review, and submit shipping documents for approval.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Handle communication with shipping agencies and clients regarding freight status.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Develop strategies to improve freight efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train junior staff on freight processes and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding

Technical Skills

• Logistics Management Systems
• Supply Chain Optimization

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in international logistics: Proven track record working with international clients and shipments.
