Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon with us, you’ll diagnose and treat a variety of conditions in pet patients. You will work in a supportive environment with a team who are equally passionate about animal welfare and veterinary science.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health examinations on animals and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform surgeries and professional veterinary services using the latest techniques.
• Administer vaccines and medications as per treatment plans.
• Advise pet owners on animal care and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Engage in continuous education to stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Assist in the training of junior vets and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registrable with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian
