AI Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious AI Engineer with hands-on experience in machine learning and data analytics to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying AI-driven solutions that improve our operational efficiency and enhance our product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, data science, and statistical analysis, along with an ability to translate complex problems into actionable AI strategies. Your work will contribute directly to the way we leverage data to foster innovation and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions using AI technologies.
• Collaborate with data engineers to streamline data processing pipelines.
• Perform statistical analysis and evaluate model performance.
• Contribute to the documentation of processes and methodologies.
• Assist in the deployment of AI solutions in client-facing applications.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment of objectives and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years in data science/AI roles is preferred

Languages
