Policy Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Policy Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will analyze and evaluate policies to promote our mission of driving social change and improving community well-being. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging public policy issues impacting the community.
• Work closely with the finance team to assess budget implications of proposed policies.
• Build relationships with researchers, academics, and other professionals.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals related to policy initiatives.
• Uphold ethical standards in policy research and analysis.
• Collaborate in cross-departmental projects to enhance policy outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Public Policy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public sector analysis
