Job Description

Seeking a skilled General Practitioner passionate about community health to join our team in Cape Town. The candidate will deliver patient-centric medical services, conduct examinations, and provide treatment based on patients' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical assessments and prescribe medications.
  • Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and programs.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide support and emotional care to patients and families.
  • Educate patients on preventive measures and general health.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Address patient inquiries and health concerns promptly.
  • Supervise medical students and junior staff as required.
  • Be proactive in improving patient satisfaction and care.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB with a focus on Family Medicine
  • Advanced training in a specific field (optional)
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in general practice
