Job Description

The Board Winder is responsible for operating machinery that wind coils of paper or board onto spools or other forms of packaging. The operator ensures that the winding process is efficient, maintaining quality throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the winding machines based on the specifications provided.
• Test operations for quality assurance before commencing large batches.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Document production activities and assist in inventory management.
• Train new operators on the machinery and production techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Technical diploma in manufacturing or engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing role
