Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Light Truck Driver (Route Rider) to deliver products safely and efficiently within Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of timely deliveries, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient delivery of products on time by following designated routes.
• Keep detailed logs of deliveries, including any complications encountered.
• Inspect vehicles regularly for safety and operational efficiency.
• Engage with customers to address concerns or queries during deliveries.
• Ensure proper securing of products in the vehicle.
• Clean and maintain vehicle to uphold professional appearance.
• Report any delivery discrepancies or road incidents promptly.
• Comply with traffic regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in the logistics and transportation industry.

Technical Skills

• Vehicle Maintenance

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Extra driving qualifications: Possession of additional licenses or endorsements for heavy vehicles.
