Responsibilities

• Create innovative designs for various types of projects including residential, commercial, and urban landscapes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for successful project execution.
• Ensure all designs are innovative while maintaining functionality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site analysis to inform design decisions.
• Review and approve architectural plans and change orders.
• Provide mentorship to junior architects and interns.
• Attend client meetings to present design ideas and discuss project progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all phases of the project.
• Implement sustainable design practices in all architectural projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architecture or related field

• Building Codes Knowledge

Certifications

• Professional Architect Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
