Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and integrate feedback effectively.
• Research and implement best practices in mechanical engineering.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material sourcing.
• Analyze product failure modes and develop improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• MBA in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the engineering sector

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
