Join our team as an Insurance Underwriter, where you will evaluate clients’ insurance applications and decide coverage levels and premium rates. You will utilize your analytical mindset to ensure comprehensive risk assessment while collaborating with stakeholders to meet client needs and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess the validity of claims and determine the appropriate coverage.
• Analyze market and economic factors influencing risk assessment.
• Work with claims adjusters to resolve underwriting issues.
• Participate in the development of underwriting policies and procedures.
• Compile data and metrics to optimize underwriting performance.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurance agents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Insurance
• A Master's degree would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in underwriting or risk analysis

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Claims Assessment

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)

Languages

• English: Fluent
