IT Support Technician

Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth, you'll provide front-line support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues swiftly. You will also assist in maintaining IT systems, including network setups and installations, to ensure the smooth running of IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service desk tickets and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
• Support IT security initiatives and perform regular audits.
• Liaise with service providers for specialized support when necessary.
• Assist in training staff on new systems and technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technology and tools to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in IT Support or related field

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
