Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across multiple areas including corporate law, compliance, and contract management. The ideal candidate will navigate legal complexities, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks while providing strategic legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment law matters, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
• Oversee the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Support business operations by providing timely legal advice and risk assessments.
• Engage with external legal counsel as necessary for specialized advice.
• Prepare legal reports and documentation as required by the management team.
• Engage in community outreach and public relations efforts on legal matters.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent
• Postgraduate legal qualification is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a corporate law firm or as in-house counsel.
