Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload. You will represent clients in court, engage in negotiations, and work collaboratively with our legal teams to ensure thorough case preparation and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters.
• Represent clients in pre-trial and trial proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and plea bargains.
• Perform extensive legal research to support litigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and summaries of case developments.
• Advise clients on potential legal outcomes and risks.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to formulate strategies.
• Conduct client meetings to discuss case progression.
• Engage with opposing counsel and court officials.

Requirements

Education

• L.L.B or equivalent law degree
• Admitted attorney with the Legal Practice Council of South Africa

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in litigation
