Job Description

We are in search of a Mechanical Technician to join our team in East London. This role involves ensuring the effective assembly, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs on mechanical components and systems.
• Manage inventory of mechanical parts and tools.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams.
• Document and report equipment failures and repairs.
• Ensure all mechanical operations adhere to company standards.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of processes.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
