We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our innovative team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing civil engineering projects that have a transformative impact on communities. You will work closely with architects, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from planning through execution in Pietermaritzburg.
• Analyze proposed plans to identify potential issues or enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Monitor construction sites for compliance with the project plan.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvements for future assignments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
