We are on the lookout for a skilled Physiotherapist to be part of our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. Your role will involve evaluating patients’ physical conditions and developing personalized rehabilitation plans. A comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy techniques and patient care ethics is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities and limitations.
• Create and implement personalized rehabilitation programs for diverse patient needs.
• Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatments and adjust techniques based on patient feedback.
• Educate patients on exercise regimes and self-care techniques for better outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient treatment plans.
• Review and modify treatment plans based on attested patient progress.
• Stay informed on the latest physiotherapy research and advancements.
• Encourage a supportive environment for patients and their families.
• Lead workshops or information sessions on health topics related to physiotherapy.
• Assist in the administrative functions of the physiotherapy department as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
