Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Auditor to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting audits for our diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while providing exceptional service. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the integrity and efficiency of our audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies.
• Review financial statements and prepare analysis for management.
• Communicate audit findings to clients and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with management to implement audit recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans.
• Provide training and guidance to junior auditors on best practices.
• Assist in the growth of client relationships through excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification is essential

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Audit Software (e.g., Caseware)
• Regulatory Compliance

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with accounting standards (IFRS): Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards is beneficial.
