Job Responsibilities
  • Execute field surveys and interviews to gather data.
  • Draft and submit reports on research findings and methodologies.
  • Work with team members to refine research goals and strategies.
  • Use statistical analysis tools to interpret data trends.
  • Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Document all research work accurately and maintain a tidy database.
  • Ensure all research complies with ethical standards.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
  • Data Analysis Proficient in statistical software like SPSS or R.
  • Survey Design Expertise in designing effective surveys and questionnaires.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)
Advantageous
  • Experience with GIS tools: Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Knowledge of environmental research methodologies: Understanding of conservation and sustainability practices.
