Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our practice, assisting veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and patient care. Your expertise and compassion will help us deliver exceptional services to pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients.
  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare samples.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care and treatment options.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Support animal handling during procedures and examinations.
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology or related field
  • Additional certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
