Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations on our construction sites in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating between various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site meetings to monitor project timelines and discuss any setbacks.
• Work closely with project management to align on project goals.
• Ensure quality control by conducting regular site audits.
• Manage relationships with clients and provide updates on project status.
• Assist in contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
• Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Evaluate site performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education

• BTech in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction site management

Technical Skills

• Site Management
• Regulatory Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Site Safety Supervisor Certificate
• OSHA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid and CPR certification: Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Prior experience in high-rise construction: Experience managing high-rise building projects.
