Job Description

Join our team as an Alley Cleaner, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of urban alleys. You will be vital in removing litter, cleaning surfaces, and reporting maintenance issues to ensure our community remains tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough cleaning of alleys and surrounding areas.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with regulations.
• Monitor and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Contribute to team meetings and planning sessions.
• Support community outreach initiatives on cleanliness.
• Document cleaning activities in logs.
• Ensure personal protective equipment is used correctly.
• Help organize community clean-up events.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in janitorial services is an advantage.

Advantageous

• Fluency in Local Languages: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is advantageous.
