Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in our production facility, operating and maintaining various machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. You will also perform quality checks and record production data while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs and ensure they are functioning properly.
• Monitor machine processes and report any irregularities.
• Maintain a clean workspace and ensure machines are properly cleaned after use.
• Support the team in achieving production schedules.
• Document downtime and maintenance issues accurately.
• Work with team members to develop more efficient production techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Trade qualification in machine operation is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a machine operator in a production environment
