Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Johannesburg. You will lead a team, manage production schedules, and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of production processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve the overall production process.
• Establish reporting systems to track production performance.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Facilitate communication between departments to enhance workflow.
• Prepare operational reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Drive initiatives for waste reduction and cost savings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years in a manufacturing or production environment

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

• English: Fluent

• Lean Six Sigma Certification: Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
