We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and a passion for developing innovative structures. You will be involved in all stages of project development—from design to execution, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and provide creative input for innovative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Evaluate existing structures and suggest modifications for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• ETABS
• MS Project

• Team Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Associate Constructor (AC)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in structural design software.: Experience with software like RISA and STAAD Pro.
• Project management certification.: Certification in project management methodologies, e.g., PMP.
