Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications for functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Identify and document bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and retrospectives to communicate testing progress.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and guidelines.
• Leverage testing tools to optimize testing processes.
• Gather and analyze user feedback for product enhancement.
• Assist in training junior QA staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in QA/testing roles

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing
• API Testing

Certifications

• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile application testing: Knowledge of testing mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms.
