Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Jigger Artisan to join our creative team. The successful applicant will design, create, and repair jiggers used in pottery manufacturing, maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new techniques for jigger design and production.
• Mentor junior artisans in pottery techniques.
• Analyze quality issues and implement solutions.
• Lead quality assessments of finished jiggers.
• Support other production duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• NQF Level 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in pottery manufacturing environments.

Languages

• English: Fluent
