As a Geophysical Prospecting Field Party Manager, you will oversee and direct a team of geophysical prospectors in the field. Your expertise in geophysical equipment and prospecting techniques will be crucial to ensuring that all operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and resource allocation for field projects.
• Evaluate team performance and provide guidance for improvement.
• Ensure all equipment is functional prior to fieldwork.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure project alignment.
• Document operational issues and propose solutions.
• Promote a positive safety culture and adherence to occupational health standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site to address their needs.
• Prepare operational budgets in collaboration with upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or a related field

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience managing field teams.
