Job Description

We are actively seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits
  • Provide support for budget preparation and financial analysis
  • Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Address invoice discrepancies and client queries

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Technical Skills
  • QuickBooks
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Sage Accounting Software
  • Basic tax knowledge

Certifications
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
