Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Project Manager who will spearhead the successful execution of various construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing all aspects of construction, from planning and budgeting to overseeing on-site operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining our high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects.
• Establish and maintain effective project communication plans.
• Oversee the procurement process for equipment and materials.
• Manage project-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Train and mentor junior project managers and team members.
• Review and approve project documents and contracts.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of construction project management experience
