Garment Presser

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Garment Presser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and maintain pressing equipment to ensure the highest quality pressed garments. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be crucial in meeting production deadlines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Run garment pressing machines to fulfill production deadlines.
• Ensure quality by inspecting each garment before and after pressing.
• Adjust steam and temperature settings based on garment type.
• Package garments efficiently for shipping or storage.
• Ensure pressing equipment is functional by performing routine maintenance.
• Work with the production team to adapt to changing priorities.
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide input on improving pressing procedures.
• Assist with training for new employees in the pressing department.
• Document and report any pressing anomalies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in garment pressing or related field.

Technical Skills

• Pressing Machine Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
