Job Description

Join our team in Port Elizabeth as a Warehouse Manager, where you'll oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure the safety and efficiency of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehousing and a knack for leading teams to success.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and ensuring high-performance standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust inventory tracking systems.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead safety training and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure optimal routing and distribution.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Review and improve operational procedures and processes.
  • Provide leadership during peak periods and ensure workforce flexibility.
  • Report on inventory levels and assist in forecasting needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Administration
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
